What's out there?
After being a single parent now for 3 years its become increasingly apparent the need for support when trying to be the 'all' parent of children. No situation you come across will match yours, but at the same time finding others who are struggling and can offer encouragement is something that many long to find. Churches around the US offer 'singles' ministries but its difficult at best to find a support group for those struggling to be a parent alone. Most of us hardly have the time in a day to get what needs to get done, never mind attend another 'great' function at church...so where does that leave us? That's the mission of this site, to offer encouragement and comfort those heading down the path or who have already been walking the path of single parenting.
